These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sixth Gear LTD website (sixthgear-ltd.com) and any travel services we provide. By using our website or making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Sixth Gear LTD is registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is at 26 Mosley Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1DF. All holiday packages sold by Sixth Gear LTD are ATOL protected.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Sixth Gear LTD. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from us in writing. A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due no later than 10 weeks before the departure date. For bookings made within 10 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation by You
If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 84 days before departure: Loss of deposit
- 57–84 days before departure: 30% of total booking cost
- 29–56 days before departure: 50% of total booking cost
- 15–28 days before departure: 70% of total booking cost
- 0–14 days before departure: 100% of total booking cost
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against cancellation costs.
4. Cancellation by Sixth Gear LTD
We reserve the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of an alternative trip of comparable quality, or a full refund of all monies paid. We will not be liable for any consequential losses arising from cancellation beyond our control.
5. Changes to Bookings
If you wish to make changes to a confirmed booking, we will endeavour to accommodate your request. An administration fee may apply. Some changes, such as to flights or hotels, may not be possible and may incur additional costs from suppliers.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability and repatriation. Sixth Gear LTD accepts no responsibility for losses that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance.
7. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents (passport, visa where required), for complying with all health and vaccination requirements for your destination, and for arriving at the correct point of departure at the correct time. Sixth Gear LTD accepts no liability for losses arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.
8. ATOL Protection
Sixth Gear LTD holds an Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL). This means that if we become insolvent after you have made a booking, you are protected. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you for any claims arising from your booking shall not exceed the total price you paid for that booking, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
